My First Post

Well I have been thinking for awhile that I should join the world of other stampers who have a blog. I already have a blog for my daycare which I am not so great at keeping up with, however I figured I would give this a try anyhow.
I am hoping this blog will keep me motivated to continually come up with new creations, and keep up with my stamping and scrap booking ideas.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will check by often.
My goal of this blog is to actually make cards or other creations out of the stamp sets I own. So you will find projects with recent and not so recent stamp sets and accessories. Hopefully this will keep me on my toes!

My first card is one that I "borrowed" from my stampin' up, upline Heather Summers. When she posted this card many moons ago I always wanted to try it, but never did. now I can't say that I didn't.
I used the now retired stamp set "cold play" which I absolutely love. Card stock in Pacific Point, basic black and Vanilla. I also used a sheet of acetate and white embossing powder to create the "window sheet" affect. It was a fairly easy project to come together. I did learn to use my embossing buddy a bit more on the acetate then I would on regular card stock for this project.
